A letter from October 22nd, 2016

 Dear FutureMe,

How's it going? I hope things are better now. By that I do not really mean any specifics actually but I hope you are happy wherever you are. You're probably in the same city and working for the same company. A gentle reminder though, work contract will end next year. So what's the plan? Do you still want to stay in the same place or go somewhere new -- this time -- by yourself. Europe, maybe?

Speaking of Europe, I hope your Georgia trip happened a month ago and that it was a good one. Finally, after years of talking to a stranger who became the onewholistensyouyourblabberingspatientlyonline friend. I hope nothing weird has happened. Or something unlikable.

What's the next step from here? I hope you have a plan. As you always do in everything. But I hope you do have a solid plan.

Currently, if this is still interesting to you, I am listening to Smashing Pumpkins' The Mellon Collie demos on YouTube. There's something beautiful with demos. I think it is better to hear demos than the original recordings from any artists actually. I think it shows the rawness and how the song should be. It's just lovely to hear a piece of art in its "original" state. I have no idea what I am talking about but these demos that I am listening to is softly swaying me and carrying me back into my it's-night-time-it's-time-to-pour-your-emotions-in-a-piece-of-paper mode. It's amazing.

That's all for now.

Cheers to 26 years,

Debie
