First ripe tomato in our little garden. The weather has been very bad lately. Look at those leaves. I hope they will bear more tomatoes like before. I'm still thankful for this little one, though. So fresh! :)
Spotted bell peppers after 6 months! It's our first time to plant bell peppers at home.
And aloe vera! I secretly cut one leaf whenever I feel like putting some on my hair. Kudos to my cousin for taking care of these plants. My flowers died because of the ugliest weather in August. I think I'll plant herbs or veggies than flowers now. :)
Great that you get to have your own garden and grow vegetables!

Hello, Chai. Thank you :)
DeleteI love growing tomatoes! they have such a high yield and i can do so much with them! this year we had tomatoes spilling out our ears for the summer harvest! i shared it with friends and family and they all loved how big and juicy our tomatoes were!
ReplyDeleteI agree. When it's time for harvesting, it's definitely a bountiful harvest. I remember back then when my brother planted a tomato and when the harvest time came, we harvested every day for a week! It was crazy. Now, though, we only had a little harvest because of the ugly weather.
DeleteIt looks so fun !
ReplyDeleteit's so awesome to have your own garden and do the harvesting by yourself
i wish i could do it too, the weather in my town isn't perfect for doing that kind of thing :(
Anyway yeah the tomato looks so fresh !!! :D

I think we managed to plant it even with the "inappropriate" weather for planting tomatoes. Plus, we live near the sea which I think isn't really a good place to plant but we actually harvested some! Maybe you can try ;)
DeleteNothing can bring me more enjoyment, as a gardener, than the first tomato that ripens in your garden :)
ReplyDeleteI know, right? It's very exciting! :D
DeleteNice! For some reason, I've only been a successful gardener of weeds. You should give me some tips! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha I don't have any tips to give but to water them everyday! :P
DeleteThat is truly wonderful. I've been dreaming of starting a little vegie garden for a while now but still haven't plucked up the courage to take the plunge. Love seeing other people's harvest...

Thanks, Ronnie! This tomato did not last for months once it bore fruit because of the bad weather. I think we need timing to plant tomatoes soon! Good luck with yours ;)
