where is this sun you speak of?

photo by Google Images The King's Stilts by Dr. Seuss is a story about King Birtram and his red, tall and flashing stilts. He is a very hardworking King in the Kingdom of Binn. He works from 5 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. Funny that even when he is taking a shower and having breakfast, he uses his right hand to sign a pile of papers with the help of Eric, his page boy, and Lord Droon. The Kingdom of Binn is below the sea level. As described in the book: The kingdom was a low one; the sea was a high one; and only Dike Trees kept the sea from pouring in. Nizzards are everywhere. They bite the trees' roots so the sea water can flow but King Birtram has five hundred Patrol Cats assigned in the morning and another five hundred Patrol Cats assigned in the evening to guard the Dike Trees and kill the Nizzards. Lord Droon is jealous of King Birtram. He doesn't like watching him playing with his stilts after a day's work. So he made a way to throw his stilt....

The truth is I can't forget the night when you and I talked about camping 10 years ago. It was 8 in the evening, we gathered dried leaves in our garden, put it on fire and you sat on a hammock and I sat adjacent to you facing the bonfire. The truth is I miss making hot coffee for you early in the morning while you're having a conversation with a friend. Also, the day I gave you a cup which says: "You're my number one super hero!" The truth is I have always loved giving you a massage before we go to sleep. The truth is I never liked escorting you to the hospital but I always make sure not to show you my tears whenever I talk to you. Just so you wouldn't feel sad. The truth is I always cry whenever I visit you in the hospital because I never wanted to see you weak. The truth is I didn't visit you when you were in ICU because I don't want to see those freaking machines attached to your body. The truth is I visited you on your last day. I could...

Went to Babu Santa with friends last week. We had no idea how it looked like in reality because none of us have been there. All we know is that it has no electricity, no water, no electricity and no electricity. It was my idea to go there since I am the kind of person who wants to go to undeveloped beaches because I think it is much more fun compared to commercialized ones. I read that this beach is a diving spot so we were very excited (two of us even brought semi-professional snorkeling kit) but we didn't see anything underwater except for star fishes, sea urchins and rocks. Turns out that the spot is just a small distance away from the beach. Professional divers stop over here to eat and leave their things. It was very peaceful nonetheless. Perfect for hanging out with close friends.  The moon was so bright that night.  Good vibes! We all got wasted: drunk, or not. Everyone were sleeping inside the tents, except for some who chose to sleep outside.  ...

After our adventure in Tagbibinta Falls, we went to Marangig Falls. I don't know how far it is from Tagbibinta but we traveled for about 20 minutes or so. When we reached the place, we hiked for 8 minutes and finally arrived in Marangig Falls! :) Spent less than an hour in Marangig falls because we have to get to the bus before 4 pm. Actually, we decided to go home the next day because its dangerous to travel in the evening.  So, we decided to stay one more night. On the next day: Woke up early to go home early! We went home safely! We had a great time at Maragusan! Overall it was a wonderful trip! Thank you Creamie, Cholo and friends. It's my favorite adventure in Maragusan! I was not expecting something so challenging and satisfying such as this. We climbed up three times. I was so scared but I challenged myself and I made it to the fourth level. Going down was more difficult! As you can see in the photo the only thing we could hold were twigs and rocks. Dangerous climb, indeed! We stayed for four hours. It was fun!! :)

On our first night, we went to  Haven's Peak . Maragusan is a home of the largest flower known as Rafflesia. Too bad we weren't able to see the real thing. We have to climb up to the mountains to see it but it's okay. I'm happy with that thing over there. The view was very nice. Maragusan is such a lovely place surrounded by foggy mountains! We stayed outside a Bagobo house for a while since the place was vacant. Conversations here and there and it was very cold! :)

After swimming in Aguakan Cold Spring, we went to Kanlawig Hot Spring. Funny that when it was raining, we were swimming in the cold spring. When the rain stopped, we soaked ourselves in the hot spring!
