Sad Face

I want to meet somebody who will listen to my stories and will not judge me from that. Who will stay with me no matter what. Somebody who likes the same things as I do so we can share whatever we have. Somebody I can just be with anytime, anywhere. Somebody who makes me feel okay whenever I'm fucked up. I like to think you're that somebody. Even though I haven't known you that much, I can feel you're perfect. We haven't even talked. We just stare at each other but not too long. Actually, it is me who stares longer. Other times, thinking of you hurts. Knowing the fact that you're just a dream I have always thought of. I can name names of girls who are linked to you ...and I hope I could say my name, too. Have I crossed your mind? Cos for me, you always do.

Dr. Seuss: Wacky Wednesday

Image
"It all began with a shoe on the wall. A shoe on the wall? Shouldn't be there at all!"  -- Wacky Wednesday by Dr. Seuss. I recited that in my memory :) Anyway, who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? Almost every kid love his stories because its fun to read. Not all children books are fun to read, right? Plus who doesn't enjoy reading stories in rhyme? Even teenagers (and some adults) still read his books. (Yes, I did a research on Google so I am certain about it. Haha!) No matter how many times you read it, it still makes you laugh! It makes me remember the odd days I had before. But its a different story for me cos I am clumsy. And I refuse to share my stories. :P

From Being There to Being Towards Death

Man is a There-being. As long as man lives, he never stops discovering himself. He never stops learning what makes him human and will never reach his wholeness. He is not only a there-being but also a being-towards-death. I think my most important learning in Philosophy of Man is the Philosophy of Death because death is man’s ultimate possibility. As a human, it is a fact and no one can take it away from us. It is important because as there-beings, we should also be aware that being alive is an opportunity for us to know ourselves, to be productive and experience life to the fullest and that we should also be aware that life has its end. No one can experience and represent it for you. People may say they have witnessed death but it is from other people’s death which they have experienced to and by that they make conclusions about their own deaths. Death individualizes man; it is personal. That is, it is something only man can do by himself. Though it is the ultimate end, it doesn’t...

The Little Prince

"Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them." - The Little Prince is written by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry This story is so inspiring. It made me realize that I am already a grown-up (at some point) because I choose to complicate things than to look at things in a simpler way. Grown-ups are always busy that they forget how to think of the small things around them - the small things that make up big things. "If you were to say to the grown-ups: “I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof,” they would not be able to get an idea of that house at all. You have have to say to them: “I saw a house that cost $20,000.” Then they would exclaim: “Oh, what a pretty house that is!”" Grown-ups never acknowledge anything that isn't interesting for them. You can never talk to them about cute things (sorry for the choice of word!)...
